The event of the summer is here babes!!
Come have a beer (or not), hangout, and learn how to mend your own clothes using 3 of my favorite stitches on Saturday, July 11th, from 12-2 pm at Blackrocks Brewery.
All materials for the class are provided and come in a pack for you to take home and keep mending! This includes:
𖦹Embroidery hoop (8 in.)
𖦹Embroidery thread (2 colors)
𖦹Embroidery Needle
𖦹Fabric Patch
𖦹 A hand-carved, block-printed shirt by me for practicing your stitches on as you learn. All shirts are sourced second hand. This is a great way to wear your learning home and release perfectionism around how your mending will turn out. An example of the shirt is seen in the photos above.
𖦹lastly, a beer token! (Or non alcoholic options offered)
Weather depending, we will meet outside on the back porch of blackrocks brewery by the stage. I will send an email to participants 1 day before the event to confirm all information.
Ticket sales close July 4th at midnight to provide time for shirt preparation. Only 18 spots are available, so book your spot asap! Can’t wait to sew together <3
